Widely regarded as the greatest golfer of all time, he has achieved a record twenty major championship victories, consisting of two U.S. The winner of more than 100 professional tournaments around the world, Nicklaus was named Golfer of the Century in 1988. Since first watching Nicklaus compete in 1959, Bowden has witnessed a great many of Jack's achievements first-hand.Jack Nicklaus was born in 1940 in Columbus, Ohio, and maintains a home there and in Florida. Teeing Off gives one of golf's most unique and well-traveled personalities a chance to, well, tee off on some of the most unforgettable characters and experiences he's had in a lifetime of playing and covering the royal and ancient game. Included are stories about Hagen and Hogan, Nelson and Nicklaus, Palmer and Player, Sarazen and Snead, Watson and Woods, and many others by an author who has known them all, up close and personal. Once a plus-one handicapper and Canadian Super Senior champion, Bowden has co-authored 11 books with Jack Nicklaus and still plays to a six handicap. A few years later, Bowden became editorial director of Golf Digest, America's and the world's top publication about knocking small white balls around big green fields. In seemingly no time at all, Bowden was the founding editor of a magazine that soon became Europe's premier publication about Scotland's second-best invention (after whisky, of course ). Partly a memoir about a lifetime association with golf's greatest performers and most colorful characters, it is also a collection of fascinating inside reminiscences and anecdotes about the game's elite

I think this book must read everyone who interested to increase their IQ Level. (Whether or not a likely possibility to an ancient.) our modern point of view would be the only weakness to the book. The first chapter deals with How to Make a Better Business at Home. It was one of the most imaginative pieces of fiction (and one of the funniest) that I have read in many years and all the books in the series (yes I got them all) have lived up to that first book. To be helpful, some plausible possibilities are given belowbut not in any order of priority.First, the early visits were described by Lucia to be from someone only the size of a young neighborhood girl known as Virginia, (12 years old). We learn of the heroic work of Ken Saro-Wiwa exposing the horrific poisoning of the lands and fishing culture of the Ogoni people of Nigeria by Shell Oil. I'm almost 40 years old and I have realized that is never too late to make chan
